Banana Toast Two Ways

The two breakfast toasties here have been my latest obsession and absolutely worth trying out so I wanted to share this with you, even though it is so ridiculously simple you can’t even call it a recipe and keep a straight face.

Toast two slices of (ahem, low carb – not that it matters after you add the banana) bread. Slice one banana finely – if the banana still has the slightest tinge of green, wait until it doesn’t. This really only works with a proper ripe banana. If it starts to look freckled, that’s when it’s actually at its best.

Butter the toast (salted butter, preferrably), pile on the banana and top one with ground turmeric, one with nutmeg.
